If You're Over 30, Osteo K-2 is For YouPatent Pending, Based on Current Bone Density ResearchIt is never too early to consider the effects of time, lifestyle, environment, stress and aging on your overall bone health. Osteo K-2 is designed exclusively to support healthy bone density & mineralization, based on the latest, published bone density research. Osteo K-2™ is an evidence-based formulation featuring natural, laboratory certified Vitamin K2, specifically Menaquinone 7 (MK-7) reported to support healthy bone mineralization density.
Scientific Research Confirms The Important Link Between Vitamin K2 & Bone DensityResearchers report that Natural Vitamin K2 (specifically Menaquinone 7, also called MK-7) from natto (soy) has been linked to stabilization of bone proteins, thereby positively impacting bone density. Not only is Natural Vitamin K2 (particularly MK-7) important for healthy bones, scientists have discovered that MK-7 supports improved cardiovascular health as well.
Laboratory Certified MK-7 from Natural Vitamin K2
Advantig's parent company worked with a preeminent laboratory to develop the scientific laboratory standard used in the natural products industry to identify genuine, pure MK-7 in Vitamin K2 (MK-7). Only qualified, laboratory-certified MK-7 is used in Osteo K-2™ because this is the beneficial form documented in the latest published scientific literature. Current research shows that MK-7 has a much longer half life (stays in the body longer) than other forms of Vitamin K2, such as MK-4, making it the Vitamin K2 form of choice for bone density support.
Are Calcium & Vitamin D Enough? The WHI CaD Study - Largest Ever Calcium Study
"The WHI CaD" study is the largest randomized clinical trial ever conducted on calcium supplementation in post-menopausal women. It followed over 36,000 women for ~7 years. Half of the women took 1,000 mg of Calcium and 400 IU of Vitamin D; the other half took a placebo. RESULTS: Women taking placebos had a hip fracture rate of 14/10,000. Women taking calcium and vitamin D had a hip fracture rate of 10/10,000. While the trend is favorable, the message of the study is that calcium and vitamin D are not enough, according to Dr. Joel Finkelstein, an osteoporosis researcher at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. "It is a good start, but women at higher risk need to know it is not enough."

Vitamin K2 Discovery & Impact on Bone Mineral Density
Unless you take Osteo K-2 containing Natural MK-7 from Vitamin K2, the only other highest dietary source of Vitamin K2 comes from "Natto." Natto is a Japanese fermented soy bean with very strong amoniacal smell akin to strong, fermented cheese and has a glue-like consistency with spiderweb-like appearance. Natto is a traditional Japanese food but it's only popular in Eastern Japan. Researchers investigated why women in the Eastern part of Japan had much lower incidence of hip fracture vs. women who lived in other parts of Japan. It came down to a traditional food consumed only in the region that had very low incidence of hip fracture - a marker in medicine for bone density. Osteo K-2 Highlights*
